"Genni. Genniiiii," Meg was prodding her friend who was lying on the couch, taking a mid-afternoon power nap before heading back to the pokemon center.
"Whaaaaat?" Genni popped an eye open only to see her friend had scaled the side of the couh and was leaning over her, a pokeball in her hand.
"Trade with meeee. But give it back," Meg thrust the pokeball into her face. Genni pushed it away and sat up.
"Is that...Haunter?" Genni shivered. Meg nodded.
"Yep! If I trade him to you he'll evolve into a Gengar!" Meg smiled happily.
"Oh hell no," Genni went to get off the couch.
"Pleasssee," Meg slid down to sit. "It's not like you have to take him out of the pokeball for him to evolve!"
"Except that you will later and he'll freak me out!" Meg swatted her words away.
"Him and Misdreavous don't get along, so he doesn't always go into your room if Jude's there," she said.
"Why do you have to make me trade? Why not them?" She motioned towards Jude, Hayes wasn't there at the moment.
"Because if I trade it to Jude he'll either hide him on me slash get rid of him or he'll only give it back if I promise to give you two private booty call time later and if I trade it with Hayes he'll only give it back if I proposition sex!" Meg whined.
"And how do you know I won't throw him out too?"
"Because you wouldn't do that to my pokemon," Meg said, matter of factly. She was right.
"Alright, fine," Genni grabbed pidgy and traded pokemon with her friend. Meg scanned the pokeball with her pokedex.
"Oh, IT'S EVOLVING!" she squealed.
"Gengar, the shadow pokemon. To steal the life of its target, it slips into the prey's shadow and silently waits for an opportunity," Meg smiled brightly. Genni paled.
"ALRIGHT TRADE BACK!" Genni thrust the pokeball back at her friend and popped Pidgy out, only it wasn't Pidgy anymore.
"Oh hay, you got a Pidgeotto," Meg said before skipping off to her room. Genni pulled out her pokedex.
"Pidgeotto, the bird pokemon. It flies over its wide territory in search of prey, downing it with its highly developed claws,"
"Cool," Genni said.
"SEE AT LEAST SOMETHING GOOD CAME OUT OF IT!" she heard Meg yell. Within a few moments, a big purple ball with spikes on its head and bright red eyes was warping through the wall, a large smile plastered on it's face.
"MEEEEEEG!" Genni screamed. Meg laughed viciously.
